Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, linking Telegram, or otherwise using PaySutra (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What PaySutra is
PaySutra is a personal expense-tracking tool. You record transactions - by typing, texting our Telegram bot, or sending images - and we help you organise, budget, and understand your own money with AI-assisted summaries. PaySutra is a record-keeper: it never holds, moves, or transfers funds.
Your account
- You must provide accurate sign-up information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
- Accounts are for individuals; do not share your login or impersonate anyone else.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
Acceptable use
When using PaySutra, you agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful or to record illegal activity;
- attempt to access other users’ data, or probe, scan, or breach our security;
- overload, disrupt, or abuse the Service, its AI features, or fair-use limits;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing product from the Service;
- upload malware or content you have no right to share.
AI features and accuracy
PaySutra uses AI to read your messages and images, categorise spending, and generate insights, forecasts, and answers. AI can make mistakes. Parsed amounts, categories, budgets, and summaries may be wrong or incomplete, so you should review important figures before relying on them. All calculations are a convenience, not a source of truth for your actual bank balance.
Not financial advice
PaySutra is an informational tool. Nothing in the app - including insights, forecasts, or the Ask assistant - is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the app are your own responsibility.
Your data and content
You own the data you put into PaySutra. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process it so the Service can work for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your data, or request full account deletion, at any time.
Third-party services
PaySutra runs on third-party providers - including Supabase (database), Groq (AI), Telegram (bot messaging), and email delivery services. Your use of the Service also relies on their availability, and their own terms may apply to the parts they provide.
Availability and changes
PaySutra is offered on a best-effort basis and may run on free-tier infrastructure. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features - or the whole Service - at any time, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the maximum extent permitted, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your reliance on figures, forecasts, or summaries produced by the Service.
Termination
You may stop using PaySutra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use PaySutra after a change means you accept the updated terms.
